The Halloween animation was a great chance to indulge in some horror iconography. We settled upon the classic sheet ghost, with a lighting flash logo reveal, for its timelessness and striking nature. Some alternate ideas included a bloody "the Shining" homage, a throwback to black and white zombie flicks, and a lighthearted trick-or-treat basket. Because tone and atmosphere are so key to all things spooky, I made sure to explore values and contrast in the concept sketches.
