process

We jumped straight into grayscale thumbnails for our storyboard - as nailing down atmosphere was key to our story

Initially a rhinoceros beetle, we opted for a more iconic beetle mandible to immediately read as "bug" even in low light/obscured shots.

One of the sillier things I drew for the project - I wanted the mantis to give off as much Grace Kelly as possible
